George Washington was called up to lead our fledging nation in taking on the most potent military power of the day, the British military. If this were to happen today, it would be like Vatican City taking on the US military. So, imagine if Washington could circumvent the whole thing with a speech.

“My fellow Americans, as we stand here today, facing the tyranny and oppression of the British monarchy, I implore you to consider a new strategy in our fight for independence. While we have taken up arms to defend our liberty, there may be another way to assert our economic sovereignty and break free from the shackles of colonial rule.

I speak of a new form of money, a currency not controlled by kings or governments but by the people themselves. They call it Bitcoin, and it has the power to change the very nature of our struggle.

Imagine a world where we no longer rely on the British pound, a currency that enriches the Crown while impoverishing our colonies. With Bitcoin, we can create our own money, free from the manipulations and debasements of foreign powers.

We will no longer have to send our hard-earned wealth back to England only to see it squandered on the extravagances of the monarchy. With Bitcoin, we can keep our money here in the hands of American farmers, merchants, and artisans.

Because no central authority controls Bitcoin, the British government cannot seize or censor it. We can use it to trade freely with one another, building our own economy from the ground up without interference from the Crown.

It is a radical idea that we should stick to the tried-and-true methods of revolution. But I say to you, what could be more radical than a currency that empowers the individual and diminishes the power of tyrants?

Imagine if we had Bitcoin during the Stamp Act crisis or when the British closed the port of Boston. We could have continued to trade and thrive, even in the face of economic sanctions and oppression.

Of course, adopting Bitcoin will take work. It will require us to learn new skills and adapt to new ways of thinking about money and value. But is this not the essence of our struggle — to break free from the old ways and create a new society based on the principles of liberty and self-determination?

So I urge you, my fellow patriots, to consider the power of peaceful rebellion through Bitcoin. Let us use this new technology to assert our economic independence to build a new nation founded on the ideals of freedom and prosperity for all.

Together, we can create a future where the American dream is not just a promise but a reality, secured by the power of decentralized money and the indomitable spirit of a free people.

Thank you, and may God bless the United States of America.

Now, some of you may be thinking, ‘But General Washington, what about our currency, the Continental? Surely, that is the key to our economic independence!’ To that, I say, ‘ Have you tried using Continental to buy a loaf of bread lately? I hear that you’d need a wheelbarrow full of them just to get a single slice!’
