Embrace The Change or Die Trying
Ludicrous calls to change the foundation of the Bitcoin protocol show a lack of understanding of what makes the world turn. “Change the code, not the climate” is one of these misguided attempts to maintain the existing status quo that is destroying the world and all its people.
Money is the cornerstone of civilization, and we have given up our human sovereignty to a small number of money-controlling interests that will do anything. to maintain the status quo. One of the largest polluters on the planet are corporations in league with the US Government and the US Government itself. These groups are invested in maintaining control and manipulation of the US currency. They will start wars, encourage genocide, and promote slavery to maintain control and leach off the people who do the work of creating value.
Depending on your spiritual bent, you may ascribe to the adage, “Money can’t buy Happiness,” but it does make up the most basic workings of our day-to-day world. Special interests would have us believe that unsustainable debt will do just fine because they are in control of the economy and have the best interest of the world and its people at heart. Simple Bull Shit. The US middle class is being gutted since the 1970s. Too big to fail banks and corporate lobbyists are at the controls. Politicians are too weak to stand up to what appears to be an inevitable wave destroying everything in its path.
I am not an economist and don’t propose to have all the right answers, but I know bull shit when I see it. Bitcoin proposes a way forward that is not based on unsustainable debt and special interest control. It takes some intelligent understanding to see this vision. Special interests have been trying unsuccessfully to kill it for over ten years. Understanding the dynamics of money and bitcoin should provide hope that we can save our planet from the disaster that our present economic conditions promote.
This vision will not ask you to protest, vote, or change your life substantially. Just keep an open mind and embrace the change; buy a few dollars of Bitcoin, whatever you can afford. This is the best way to learn about it.
When most people opt for good money (Bitcoin) over evil money (Fiat), the balance of world power and all its corrupting influences fade from history. Power returns to those who provide value rather than the money changers who do not.
Of course, we could dismiss a new form of money with the potential to change the world and continue to support the existing system that has brought us to this climate and financial dead end. Everyone has a choice, make yours an informed one.
