The Revolution

The Revolution is alive and well. It started before Trump, and his minion made a symbolic rush on the capital, shortly after the bank bailout that left ordinary people out in the cold. The revolution was on when the money powers passed laws that made their financial influence more important than the common man’s vote.
Realizing the game is rigged and can’t be won by playing by rules established by the cheating class, the revolutionaries understood new rules were needed. Rules that the controlling power would not notice taking shape.
Stepping back, these revolutionaries realized guns and public displays of insurrection would not work; controlling powers have accounted for that reaction. Calling them domestic terrorists and placing their cause outside the common good. Voting was already co-opted just as an exercise and futility, but you still have a choice between two really bad options. Gerrymandering is a new tool for the cheating class.
History holds the key to the New Revolution.
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered…. I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies…. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” Thomas Jefferson
Did banks hatch a plot to co-op the common man in favor of the rich? I don’t believe so, but greed prevails.
Did our government officials choose public service because they saw it as a means of acquiring wealth? I don’t believe so, but greed prevails.
Big Guns
So the new weapons of revolution are coins. And the big gun is Bitcoin. At first, banks and the government saw it as just some crazy internet magic money that would never hold up. Revolutionaries saw it as a glimmer of hope. Over the years, that hope took on significance. And now it’s too big to fail. Too big to kill. And too big to ignore.
Who exactly is the enemy? It’s GREED.
When some believe the power is too important to be shared with those, who will be influenced by it. And they opt for control over sharing; that’s GREED. We see it in government, we see it in monopolies, and we see it in banking.
For those who say there’s no other way, I would ask them to look at open-source software and blockchain consensus. This cooperative means of creation are not as efficient as a dictatorship, but who among us wants to live in a dictatorship?
I’m assuming this article will not be viewed by many people in China. They recognized the power of Bitcoin and kicked it out of the country. Some in our government see the same writing on the walls but have no idea how it will fit into everyday life.
It’s time for those in control of power today to realize the revolution is over, the revolutionaries have won, and how do we move on from here? Changes are inevitable, it’s time to empower everyone with the ability to seek new opportunities and a sea of change.
